Lung cancer patients and healthy people between the serum markers was significantly different, but what kind of relationship and how to detect, has been a hot topic of concern to the medical profession. According to reports, DKK1 is a Wnt signaling inhibitor, in a variety of cancer cell lines highly expressed in tumor occurrence and development play an important role. Professor Huang Gang, who applied the new time-resolved immunofluorescence assay on 592 cancer patients, 72 benign lung disease patients and 120 healthy control serum DKK1 levels were determined. The results showed that compared with other malignant tumors, benign lung disease and healthy controls, patients with lung cancer were significantly elevated serum DKK1; in people with cancer, ovarian cancer, cervical cancer patients, their serum compared to healthy controls DKK1 levels were significantly reduced. These data suggest that, DKK1 preferentially expressed in lung tumor cells. The discovery of lung cancer diagnosis and treatment will provide a new way of thinking.
